My name is Stefan Mitchell and I am your West Bank Prince. I am currently enrolled as a 12th grader at Saint James High. I am a member of the honor guard and band. I have been in apart of honor guard for four years and Saint James Band for three years. In JROTC I am currently a LET 3 and the Sergeant Major of the Wildcat Battalion. This year for our annual JROTC Ball I was given the honor of being the king. For next school year I plan on attending Nicholls University and going to the Army Reserves. To further my education at Nicholls University I plan on majoring in mass communication. Now, even though my time at Saint James is coming to an end there is still so much for me to do.
Jaden Danae’ Johnson is the daughter of Kendall & Dawn Johnson of Gramercy. Jaden is a 17 year old intelligent, beautiful girl. She attends King Solomon Baptist Church where she participates in “LOP” Living on purpose, “POP Puppet of praise, youth choir, the youth dance team, and she volunteers at the church’s store house.
Jaden attends Lutcher High School and the Science and Math Academy. Jaden was in the band, a cheerleader, a majorette, beta member, student council member, and she also participates with Warm Hands Warm Hearts. Jaden was crowned 2017-2018 LHS Homecoming Queen. She’s a debutante with the Ladies of Elegance. Jaden will graduate in May 2018 and plans on attending Southern University & A&M in Baton Rouge,LA to major in political science.
Her favorite scriptures are Psalms 139:14, “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;your works are wonderful,
I know that full well”, & Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”.
Gretchen Borne is a senior at St. James High School. She has been on the honor guard/drill team and part of the JROTC program for four years. She has two sisters and one brother. Both of her sisters are older than her while her brother is younger than her. She likes to spend time with her family and friends. Also she enjoys going shopping on her free time.
A lot of her hobbies are things like coloring, dancing, and shopping. She is a pretty simple person. Her favorite color is green. She is a very friendly person and she tends to get along with everyone.
Currently she goes to St. James High School. In her primary and elementary years she had went to Vacherie Primary School and Vacherie Elementary School. When she was at Vacherie Elementary School she was in 4-H, Beta, and in the band. She was apart of the 4-H program starting from 4th grade to 6th grade. She was in Beta for her 5th grade year or her 6th grade year. For her 5TH grade or 6th grade year she was also in band.
When she was in the band in elementary school, she had played the clarinet. In her 4th grade year she had did the American Heart Association Pageant in 2010 and she won/became princess. She won the ACE Student awards in 2013, 2014, and 2017. She won the ACE Student awards in her 7th, 8th, and 11th grade years. In her 9th and 10th grade years she was in the Jumpstart program.
Right now, she is a senior. Currently, she takes the ProStart 1 class. What is ProStart? ProStart is dealing with cooking and going into the food industry. It also deals with learning how to cook, business skills, cooking skills, getting ServSafe, and so much more that it prepares you for going into the food industry if you want to go into the food industry. She is a very nice, kind, and friendly person. She works hard, studies hard, and does her very best ability to keep up her good grades and keep up a good GPA.
After she graduates from high school she plans on going to a college or a trade school. Her major will be Culinary Arts or a Science major. The college she plans on attending is Nicholls State University. While she is in college or a trade school she will also get a job to get a head start on saving up money. During college she plans to either live on campus or live at home until she graduates. After she graduates from college or a trade school she will get a career and start making a good profit. Also after college she would like to buy her own house.
Keiron Goudia is a resident of Lutcher, La. He is the son of Glenn and Kyniesha Goudia. He has two brothers Kasyn and Kholsten. Keiron is currently a Senior at Lutcher High School and the St. James Science and Math Academy.
Keiron has been a member of the Beta Club, JROTC, and the Student Council. Also, Keiron is a 4-year letterman of the LHS Bulldogs Varsity Football Team. During his high school years, he has been honored to named JROTC Freshman Duke, Sophomore and Junior Homecoming Duke, and he was recently crowned as the 2017-2018 LHS Homecoming King.
Keiron is a member of the First Community Antioch Baptist Church. He enjoys sports, music, video games, and spending time with his brothers. Also, Keiron loves collecting the latest exclusive kicks. He plans to further his education by attending Nicholls State University and majoring in Biology with a Pre-Physical Therapy Concentration.
